These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website theestatetable.in and the ordering services operated by The Estate Table ("The Estate Table", "we", "us" or "our"), a neighbourhood cafe and kitchen located at Kalra Central 6/655/63, 2nd Main Road, Village Kempapura, 58, Yelahanka, behind Esteem Mall, Hebbal, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560024. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the terms set out below.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or placing an order. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site or our services.
1. About Us and Our Services
The Estate Table is a cafe and kitchen based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Through our website and in person, we offer: (a) dine-in and takeaway at our cafe; (b) School Lunch Orders prepared fresh and delivered to participating schools; and (c) Home Delivery of food and bakery items from our cafeteria menu. Menus, availability and prices are displayed on the website and may change from time to time.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age, or use the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order.
- Where the website requires you to sign in, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information (including delivery address, school details and contact number) when placing an order.
3. Menus, Products and Availability
- All food items are prepared fresh in limited quantities and are subject to availability. We may withdraw or vary any item without prior notice.
- Images of products on the website are for illustration. Actual items may vary in appearance, size and presentation because they are handmade.
- We handle nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten and other allergens in our kitchen. While we take care, we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of allergens. If you have a food allergy or dietary requirement, please contact us before ordering.
- Our food is intended for prompt consumption. Storage and freshness guidance may be provided with your order.
4. Orders and Order Confirmation
- An order placed through the website is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we accept and confirm your order.
- We may contact you on the phone number or email provided to confirm order details, quantities, delivery address and timing.
- We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, including where the item is unavailable, the delivery location is outside our service area, or the order details cannot be verified.
5. School Lunch Orders
- School Lunch Orders are prepared for a specific delivery date and are delivered to the school named at the time of ordering.
- Orders, changes and cancellations are subject to a daily cut-off time as set out in our Refunds & Cancellations Policy, because food is prepared fresh each morning.
- Please ensure the child's name, class/section and school are entered correctly. We are not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to incorrect details.
- Delivery to a school is subject to the school's access, timings and rules.
6. Prices and Payment
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and, where applicable, are inclusive of taxes as shown at checkout. Any delivery fee is displayed before you confirm your order.
- Payment is collected through the payment options offered on the website. We do not store your full card or banking details; these are handled by our payment gateway provider.
- In the event of an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.
7. Delivery
Delivery of home orders and school lunches is governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, refunds and issues relating to quality or non-delivery are governed by our Refunds & Cancellations Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Acceptable Use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or place orders you do not intend to pay for or receive;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the website or its systems;
- copy, reproduce or misuse our content, branding, recipes, photographs or menus without our written permission.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on theestatetable.in, including the name The Estate Table, logos, text, images and menu designs, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable law. You may not use it without our prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
- Our food is prepared with care, but you are responsible for informing us of allergies and for consuming items within any recommended time.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in respect of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, traffic, strikes, school closures or failures of third-party delivery or payment providers.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the website at the time you place an order applies to that order. Please review this page periodically.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
